“What do you think of the breakfast Dazz?”

We’d Just finished a long hard run with the Sunday morning gang and as usual they’d tried to kill us. It’s a sort of “runners showing the triathletes how to run” type of thing I think.

If you want to follow the numbers more closely I’m on Strava as Rob Cummins Wheelworx or if you’re more of a pictures instead of reading type I post on Instagram as wheelworxrob.

Chasing Kona eBook available

“It’s really good actually. Very tasty. Did I tell you about the one I found? It was the best breakfast I’ve ever had”

Of course I’m interested now. I don’t often eat breakfast but when I do it should be special. And huge. I’m impressed by big breakfasts.

That probably makes me sound odd…

Anyway Dazz is still talking about the huge breakfast he’s discovered “It all comes out on this gigantic platter thing and it’s in sections, one has the continental breakfast stuff, cold meats and cheeses. The next section is all cooked sausages and rashers, then fruits, pastries, breads, everything. It’s got everything on it. And it’s huge”

“Where was it Dazz?” I’m trying to keep the impatience out of my voice. I want to go for this breakfast. It sounds fucking deadly.

“Copenhagen” He answers in between bites of sausage.

“Copenhagen the restaurant?” I ask. Not that I’ve ever heard of a restaurant called Copenhagen or know where it is but the other dawning possibility is much less appealing.

“No. Copenhagen the city. It was when I was there last year for the Ironman”

“For fucks sake Dazz, I can’t go to Copenhagen just for breakfast”

“Yeah I guess” he concedes “but it was a great breakfast”

If you’re more interested in the running and training than the breakfast eating you can check out the Sunday run here
